Hotels are offering gluten-free menu options to attract guests who want GF food. Unilever has been rated the top company for sustainability. A food app has been launched which allows users to find allergy-free restaurants. Some Texas charter schools are offering organic and sugar-free meals.

In an April poll of 559 sustainability experts from business, government, non-profits and academia carried out by consultants SustainAbility and researchers GlobeScan, Unilever was chosen by the highest number of respondents. Unilever was also chosen as the top sustainable food company by Two Tomorrows Group Ltd., a UK-based international corporate sustainability agency, which conducts an annual assessment of corporate sustainability practices of the world’s largest food & beverage companies.
